Keep Jobber. Own the rest.
Start with what Jobber already provides. I can help configure its existing features and check whether a particular handoff, approval rule, or connection still needs custom work. Any integration is scoped around your plan, supported access, and a tested workflow.
Where to check for a manual handoff
Work you should not have to keep catching.
The useful starting point is not “use AI.” It is recognizing the moment that repeatedly costs time, money, or a customer.
Are there after-hours exceptions that your configured answering or booking flow cannot handle?
Does a follow-up require an approval or source material that your current setup cannot use?
Are job details still being copied into another system by hand?
A useful comparison
Built-in tools vs a custom layer
Jobber plans and add-on prices change. This comparison is about fit and ownership—not a promise that custom automation has no ongoing provider costs.
| Renting it | Owning it | |
|---|---|---|
| AI answering | Jobber's built-in Receptionist, priced with its current plan | A call flow built around your rules and provider accounts |
| Marketing emails | Jobber's Marketing Suite and templates | A workflow shaped to your source material, voice, and approvals |
| Quote follow-up | Built-in reminders and pipeline tools | A custom sequence that stops on reply and logs exceptions |
| Ongoing cost | Jobber plan and selected add-ons | No Agent Run Apps license; provider usage and hosting stay visible in your accounts |
A likely first proof
Estimate Follow-up — Jobber edition
First check whether Jobber reminders and pipeline tools cover the task. If an approval rule or cross-system handoff remains, we can scope and test that specific gap, including reply detection and a clear stop condition.
After the first win
Other leaks worth plugging.
Start narrow enough to prove the value. Expand only when the first system has earned the right to connect more of the operation.
After-hours booking
Check native answering and booking options first, then assess whether a supported custom handoff is needed for your after-hours rules.
The review engine
Job closes in Jobber, the customer gets the approved ask with your direct Google link, and the activity stays visible in accounts you control.
Renewals & win-backs
Maintenance agreements and quiet customers chased from the records you already keep.
Using Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Gmail, or a spreadsheet? We first check the native features, supported access, and exact handoff. Integration options depend on the product and plan.
Start with one AI tool and one real task.
A $295 one-on-one setup session can configure the right tool, test one useful workflow, and leave reusable instructions in accounts you control. Team working sessions start at $950.
Fair questions
What owners ask before we talk.
Direct answers, including the parts that matter after the build is finished.
Do I have to cancel Jobber?
No—keep it. Jobber is genuinely good at scheduling, quoting, and invoicing, and my builds ride on top of it. If you're shopping for software and Jobber fits, my honest advice is to buy it; I can also help set it up as a smaller fixed-scope engagement.
Are you affiliated with Jobber?
No. I am an independent builder in Cincinnati. I can review a Jobber workflow, configure native features where they fit, and scope a custom connection only when an unmet requirement justifies it.
What does it cost compared to the add-ons?
For a full custom automation, plan on a minimum project budget of $2,500. The real number depends on your Jobber setup, rules, and handoffs; smaller focused help can cost less, while connected systems can move into five figures. Each custom phase has a written scope, fixed price, completion checks, and payment schedule agreed before work begins. Ongoing Jobber, API, messaging, voice, or hosting charges—if the workflow needs them—stay visible in accounts you control.
START WITH THE BOTTLENECK
Fifteen minutes. Straight answers. No pitch.
Tell me where the week goes. I will tell you what is worth fixing—and sometimes the honest answer is nothing yet.
